Top Dog Middle school (6 - 8th grade) Head Coach
Nic Yeomans
Nic Yeomans wrestled for over a decade under Coaches Brian Hage and his father, Randy Yeomans.
Nic was a 4x member of Team GA’s National Wrestling Team and had multiple placements in both the Area and Cobb County Championships, including winning. He was a Team Captain his Senior year and set and tied several records while at Harrison.
Wrestling is a family sport, as his Dad, Randy Yeomans, was a wrestler and coach and is inducted into the Hall of Fame for coaching. Nic’s Brother, Cam Yeomans and Brother-in-law, Kad Mendoza were both highly successful wrestlers. Nic’s cousin, Tonya Verbeek is a multiple time Olympic medalist, former wrestling coach to Team Canada, and current coach at Iowa. Nic also has two nephews that wrestle locally.
In the late 90’s and early 2000’s Nic hosted wrestling clinics and private lessons. Today he is a Bronze Level Certified USA Wrestling Coach.
His belief is that if the kids are having fun, they will keep coming back and gain skill. Fun and skill multiplied over time will create a successful wrestler.
As a business owner today Nic still holds to the lessons learned during his time as an athlete and shares them with his team and clients. There is no sport like wrestling.
